One of London’s most exciting newcomers, Oscar Scheller, has dropped a personally charged track in the form of ‘Confidence’. Of the inspiration behind the release he says, “Confidence is not something that has come easy to me. I've always wrestled with self-esteem issues and this song was really a way of addressing that once and for all, and honouring it.” The track is one of many tunes he has used to express personal thoughts and feelings, and it is up there with his most honest and endearing work. Lo-fi beats and retro synths juxtapose the anthemic, textured choruses that are sure to induce a sing-a-long at live shows, while US rapper Ashnikko steals the show.
